How do My Pet Care Plans work?
Our clients always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular preventive care can be for your pet's health, it can still sometimes be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
My Pet Care Plans 'bundle' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
What is the difference between a My Pet Care Plan and pet insurance?
While both pet care plans and pet insurance help you manage the costs of your pet's veterinary care, the types of veterinary services they cover are different.
My Pet Care Plans include preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.
What is included in a My Pet Care Plan?
Our preventive My Pet Care Plans for kittens, cats, puppies and dogs in Oak Grove include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
My Pet Care Plans include annual wellness exams, core vaccinations, bloodwork, and heartworm testing. They will also include a fecal exam and a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications.

Sometimes pets can appear healthy, but the early signs of disease can lurk in their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why we run bloodwork to ensure they’re in tip-top shape.
Parasites can be deadly for an animal of any size if left untreated. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medication with every My Pet Care Plan.
If your pet does become infected, our fecal exams and heartworm tests are designed to catch these life-threatening conditions, which are often undetectable until your pet gets seriously ill.

Do My Pet Care Plans renew automatically after a year?
Yes, unless you request that we cancel your plan, it will renew automatically each year.

How do I make the monthly payments?
Your payment information (credit card) is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

I have more than one pet. Can I get a discount on multiple preventive care plans?
When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay the one-time $35 enrolment fee once (not for each pet).

My Pet Care Plans helps keep senior pets feeling well as they age. Your pets' plan can be customized based on your pet's unique recurring needs, and that includes aging-related requirements! Preventive Care Plans for older pets include the standard core services, in addition to screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a My Pet Care Plan?
Regular preventive veterinary care for young animals can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a preventive care plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

Should I invest in a My Pet Care Plan every year?

What happens if my pet passes during the 12-month commitment?
If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.

What types of My Pet Care Plans do you offer?
We offer My Pet Care Plans for puppies, kittens, adult dogs, and adult cats.

Will the My Pet Care Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Preventive care plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding food and grooming.
